ANZ Term Deposit June 2018 Review

Excluding Advance notice TDs by ANZ which require 31 days notice, the ANZ standard term deposits have had their 1 month rates dropping to 1%, 1 yr was also down to 1.5% and other deposits falling across the board it seems ANZ anticipates for this period that term deposit rates are unlikely to rise, but rather fall. In conjunction with the royal commision and the recent fall in lending in property at the moment in the eastern states it assumes that the RBA will not lift rates anytime soon. Rates currently are at below inflation and becoming very unattractive for yield investment for the moment compared to other bank deposits in Australia.
